Very often gardeners do their gardening as though we operate miniature farms, such as planting our gardens in long straight rows. However, planting in circles and other ways are often better for our gardening purposes, and we are able to do so because we don't have to drive a tractor through our plots.

The Native American "Three Sisters" planting method is an example of a gardening-centric approach to circular gardening.
